Not a fund. We run what we own.
An Austin, Texas holding company built by operators.
We find, acquire, and operate founder-led businesses across technology, digital marketing, home services, media, and the outdoor economy. We run them ourselves rather than owning them from a distance. Since early 2024 we have completed three exits and built a portfolio of four operating companies.

The one we never sold.
Most small businesses do not fail because the work is bad. They fail because not enough people know they exist. We had that problem in our own companies, so we started a company to solve it. Deer Camp Digital reached a seven-figure annual run rate in under 18 months, serves clients across the country, and builds its own software. We never sold it, because it is what makes every other acquisition worth making.

“We don’t buy businesses we couldn’t run ourselves.”
Wesley Mack, Founder
Two founders. Active operators.

Founder
Wesley Mack
Wesley’s career was built at the intersection of technology, revenue growth, operations, and leadership. He spent more than a decade with IBM and VMware before moving into entrepreneurship, and has since founded, acquired, operated, and exited businesses across technology, digital marketing, home services, media, and the outdoor economy.
He is most interested in founder-led businesses with real customers, capable people, and room to grow.

Co-founder
Allison Mack
Allison founded Austin Moms more than a decade ago, before blogging was a business, and grew it into a media company that earns monthly retainers larger than many agencies win. She brings a working command of social media, advertising, media buying, and content to every company in the portfolio.
Together, Wesley and Allison lead Frontier Foundry as active operators, working directly across strategy, technology, sales, marketing, finance, and leadership development.

Texas Hill Country and southwest Montana.
Frontier Foundry is based in Austin, where most of our companies operate and where the Texas spirit of building things yourself is the default. Our second office is in Dillon, Montana, at the heart of the outdoor economy several of our companies serve.
Between the two we work with businesses across the country. The location matters less than the operator on the other end of the call.
